I met Andrea, also known as, The Librarian, when I was living in Whistler this past winter. As I was taking photos of Mat the Alien and guests for the weekly Really Good Tuesdays, it was through this experience that we connected. The other week (once the rain finally stopped and summer showed up) I had the pleasure of working with this innovative, driven and creative individual.
Not only a DJ, she’s constantly contributing to the music industry, as she is a founder of a new and unique music festival. If you’re looking for something different to experience this summer, I encourage you to look into the Bass Coast Project. Nestled in the mountians just outside of beautiful Squamish, BC, it’s a musical and artistic celebration of the sub-culture today.
To hear the bass injected sounds The Librarian is all about, crank the volume and take a listen to her SoundCloud or Myspace page. Also, make sure to ‘like’ her Facebook page and follow her on Twitter, @LibrarianMusic, in order to connect and stay up to date with interesting news and up-coming shows.
Here’s a few photos taken in Squamish, BC, of this amazing woman, DJ and music festival founder. Here is… The Librarian!
